Coldplay Tickets

Alex my roommate just woke up to order COLDPLAY tickets for the Chicago show on Friday and they sold out in 5 seconds! I looked on ebay and I saw a pair (2) of tickets go for 820$ !!??!! Thats insane, they jumped from 600$ to 820$ in 15 seconds. Crazy

Houston's

Houston's is an amazing resturaunt in Nashville, probably my favorite reasonably priced resturaunts around. Their spinach artichoke dip is divine, and the french dip is stellar. The dip is soooo good that even after my french dip came, I ordered another bowl of chips to finish it off, before I started on the french dip. On the other hand, the fact that it is a 6 dollar cab ride to get there, (it's 6 blocks away) is definately not cool. I don't think its wrong to not tip the guy alot when its that short of a cab ride because the fare essentially is a tip since it is so short of a distance. Biology exam is today, i think I am prepared enough, enough to pull off an A- at least. SO I was studying for biology at Vandy/Barnard study lounge and all of a sudden this big black lady walks in who had been cleaning the place, and she picks up trash, I was like, ok thats cool, its her job. Then she walks over, turns the TV on and volume up high and watches a Soap Opera that from what I could hear was the stupidest thing ever. They were talking about a plane which was going to crash land and then it switched over to some crappy sub plot where these women were arguing about who their man was, or some crap like that. Then she falls asleep on the couch with the TV blaring, so I just leave, it's hard to study with background TV soap operas, esp. crappy ones. Props to Josh who actually read my blog yesterday... you rock!

Speed Monitored by Aircraft?

What Does that even MEAN? How are they going to monitor my speed with their helicopter and pull me over with the car, and how often do they actually do that? I bet they did it once so they could put that cool sign there. It reminds me of fast and the furious or Gone in 60 seconds where the Nic Cage steals the car and then outruns the helicopter in it! That was intense, or just movie magic, but thats enough procrastinating, time to work on exams....

Exams

Exams suck, Bio on Saturday, Math on Tuesday, and Organic Chemistry on Thursday. Orgo should be easy, and Mrs. Piggy is going to make calculus hard for no reason except she thinks that all of the kids in there are engineers. I am not, so she makes it hard for me for no reason. It sucks. When I signed up for the course, it didnt say "engineering" so I was shocked when the whole class except 2 or 3 people were not engineers. She doesnt give a curve either, which sucks, but if I can get above a 90 on the exam, i could pull off an A-. Now Biology on the other hand has very easy material for the 2nd half of the semester, but Santa has to make it hard because he can't spell and is disorganized. The last test I knew all the material, but he asked ridiculous questions so I almost failed! McCauley sucks at life, don't take him for Biology 110B.

1st post

yay, now I've done it, i've joined the frenzy of blogs, i had no clue what a blog was about 6 months ago, and i think it'll be a fun experience. I just wanted to reply to Cole's blog, but I had to create my own, so thanks Cole for inspiring me, your blog is an example for all.
